Sandmeyer Steel Company

March 24, 2020

Our top priority at Sandmeyer Steel Company is the health and well-being of our employees and their families, our customers, and the communities in which we live and work.

Based on the most recent information shared by health officials regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has ordered all non-life-sustaining businesses in Pennsylvania to close their physical locations effective March 19, 2020.

Our Pennsylvania facility continues to operate because we fall under several industry group categories that are designated as "life-sustaining" by Governor Tom Wolf. Accordingly, we are permitted to continue physical operations. The health and safety of our employees and their families are paramount, and we are taking every precaution to mitigate risks and protect our employees.

We have implemented new safety protocols in compliance with the CDC and WHO guidelines. We are working diligently to protect our employees by instituting rigorous social distancing, restricting travel, cancelling large group gatherings, employing shift separation, and increasing cleaning and sanitization measures throughout our plant and offices.

With the uncertainty surrounding the current situation, we want our customers to be confident in the resilience of both our employees and infrastructure. We are not experiencing supply disruption from any of our Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloy, or Titanium 国家授权正规彩票 suppliers at this time.

Our infrastructure is equipped and prepared to continue as needed, and our Technical Support Services and Sales team will remain online during this critical period. Both our Domestic and International Support employees are available to provide customer support 24 hours a day.

As the COVID-19 virus outbreak continues to evolve, Sandmeyer Steel Company is monitoring the guidance of the federal, state, and local governments and public health authorities, so we can quickly adjust best practices as appropriate and comply with any new COVID-19 mitigation mandates.

This pandemic has made us come together to rally our greatest strength, the human spirit. Through all of this, we are re-emphasizing what is most important – our employees, our customers, and our communities. We’re committed to working through these challenging circumstances together.
